About the Artist

Beth Gutierrez

Beth Gutierrez was born and raised in Zimbabwe, and now lives in the mountains of western North Carolina. Drawn to art all along her walk through life, her creative path wound through clothing design in Cape Town, and food as a chef in Vermont. Painting only began in earnest when retirement and cancer rolled around and dreams could no longer wait for one day. Beth works primarily in oil and watercolor.
